some questions you may have....
When does a session start? / When does the clock start?
The session starts after you have connected to our GoToMeeting event. You'll need a couple of minutes to run the download and sign in, so we won't start billing until after you enter the meeting.
How much will a portion of time cost that's not exactly 30 minutes?
If your needs are met in less than 30 minutes, the minimum charge applies - either $20 for computer basics help - or $30 for graphics software training. Extra time over half hour sessions will be billed in 5 minute increments... $3.35 for basics / $5.00 for graphics.
Whats the longest session you can have per day?
We try to make certain that you learn what you need in the same day - so some calls may be lengthy - but there's a point where too much information causes brain overload! We limit sessions to a three hour maximum. If you need more time, we'll end the meeting and re-schedule with you for the next available day that fits your schedule.
Do I have to setup an appointment for a specific time or can I just call in?
If you're in a bind, just give us a call - if we're with another client, we'll schedule a meeting right then. If you can put aside training time on a specific day, send us an email and we'll contact you about holding that slot.
If I set up an appointment for one subject and I think of something else I need help with, can I ask those questions, too, or will the person I'm with know the answers?
You can cover a variety of issues in one session - ask away!! If we don't know some of the answers, we'll connect you with someone who will.
What happens if the person I'm with is unable to help me with my problem?
Do I get a refund if I do not get the help I need?
If we have another expert to hook you up with - we'll work to get you connected right then or schedule an appointment with that pro within the following 24 hours. If that isn't possible, your refund will be on its way.
Are you able to help with my Internet Service Issues?
No - you need to speak with your internet service provider.
Can you help fix my computer if its running slow?
Sometimes the dragging on your computer is due to the number of items in your startup. Other spyware and virus programs can also contribute to slow running computers. We'll check it out for you - and see what's going on. Most times, we can correct the problem right then. If you need a technician after we've looked around, we'll refer you to one of the best!
Are you able to help me when I get Windows error codes or a Blue screen? Or will you just send me back to windows service techs?
Windows error codes need to be handled by a technician. We'll give you a referral if you do not have one.
What happens if I lose internet connection during a session? Do we try reconnecting? Or reschedule the other portion of time when my service is fixed?
This has not been an issue, but should it happen, we'll try reconnecting right away. If your internet service goes down completely, we'll resume the session when you are back online.
